TSS 18-inch wheels are manufactured using a flow-forging process that strengthens the wheel barrel while reducing unnecessary material. Each wheel weighs approximately 23.05 lbs, with a load rating of 750 kg, and is tested to JWL, VIA and SAE J2530 standards. This construction offers an attractive strength-to-weight alternative to traditional gravity-cast wheels.

Lower unsprung and rotational mass can support responsive handling and suspension performance. Actual changes to range, ride, strength and road-hazard resistance depend on the full wheel-and-tire setup and driving conditions.

18-Inch Ride Comfort

The 18-inch diameter makes room for a taller tire sidewall than larger 19-inch or 20-inch Model 3 wheel setups, helping cushion road impacts and reduce the risk of wheel damage from potholes. The factory-size 235/45R18 tire maintains the intended overall tire proportions while offering practical everyday driving comfort.

Arachnid Inspired Design

Follow the recommended cold tire pressures on your vehicle's Tire and Loading Information label (located inside the driver side door jamb). Check pressure after the vehicle has been parked out of direct sunlight for more than three hours. Use our AMAXX Tesla Digital Tire Inflator for convenient pressure checks and adjustments.
Rotate tires every 6,250 miles, or sooner if tread-depth difference reaches 2/32 inch, to help maximize tread life and maintain even wear.
When installing wheels, torque the 21 mm lug nuts to 129 lb-ft (175 Nm).
After tire service, drive approximately five miles to allow the TPMS readings to update.
Tire pressure changes with temperature, driving and sunlight. Underinflation can reduce range, accelerate wear and create a safety risk.
Teslas do not come with a spare! Consider purchasing a Tesla spare tire package to ensure you never get stranded with a flat.
