    • Description

The Continental ContiSportContact 7 represents the pinnacle of ultra-high performance summer tires. It is engineered for drivers who demand the absolute best in grip, precision, and safety. This flagship tire is designed for high-performance sports sedans, coupes, performance crossovers, and high-performance SUVs. It delivers an exceptional driving experience that blends track-inspired capabilities with real-world drivability.

At the heart of the ContiSportContact 7 are advanced BlackChili compounds and a sophisticated adaptive tread design. These technologies work together to deliver superior grip, precise steering response, and outstanding braking performance in both dry and wet conditions. The asymmetrical tread pattern adapts dynamically to changing road surfaces, providing consistent stability and control even at higher speeds. Continental’s innovative engineering results in shorter braking distances — up to 8% better in wet conditions and 6% better in dry compared to its predecessor — while also increasing overall mileage by approximately 17%.

This tire is fully EV-ready, making it an outstanding choice for modern electric vehicles. Its specialized engineering provides excellent low rolling resistance for battery range optimization, helping EV owners travel farther on each charge without sacrificing performance. The tire excels at instant torque management, confidently handling the immediate power delivery that defines electric drivetrains. This makes the ContiSportContact 7 a top electric SUV tire and premium Tesla tire choice for performance-oriented electric vehicle owners. It supports the higher EV load capacity of heavy battery packs while maintaining composure during aggressive acceleration and cornering.

Reduced road noise levels further complement its dynamic character, creating a more refined and comfortable cabin experience — an important factor for luxury EV drivers who value both excitement and serenity. Whether equipped with ContiSilent technology or not, the tire minimizes unwanted vibrations and harshness, making long highway drives and daily commutes more enjoyable.

The ContiSportContact 7 stands out for its versatility across different vehicle classes. Continental developed each size specifically for the weight and performance characteristics of the intended vehicle, ensuring optimal performance whether you drive a lightweight sports coupe or a heavier performance SUV. This tailor-made approach gives drivers the signature SportContact feeling — sharp, responsive, and confidence-inspiring — no matter what vehicle they pilot.

On dry pavement, the tire offers razor-sharp handling, strong lateral grip, and high-speed stability that inspires confidence on canyon roads or during enthusiastic highway merging. In wet conditions, the advanced groove design rapidly evacuates water, reducing hydroplaning risk and maintaining excellent traction for safe braking and cornering. These capabilities make the tire equally suitable for spirited weekend drives and everyday use.

Backed by Continental’s German engineering excellence and rigorous testing (including track validation), the ContiSportContact 7 has earned multiple awards and is chosen as original equipment by premium manufacturers, including for electric vehicles like the Polestar 3. Its combination of performance, efficiency, durability, and refinement sets a new benchmark in the ultra-high performance summer tire segment.

Whether you’re seeking maximum driving pleasure in a sports sedan, enhanced capability for a performance crossover, or the perfect balance of range and handling for your electric SUV, the Continental ContiSportContact 7 delivers on every front. It transforms ordinary drives into engaging experiences while providing the safety and reliability modern drivers expect.

Choose the Continental ContiSportContact 7 when you want a tire that represents the cutting edge of performance technology — one that excels on the street, supports the unique demands of electric vehicles, and elevates your entire driving experience with every mile.

Replacing stock tires on OEM Tesla wheels

Stock Tesla Tire Replacement and Maintenance
OEM Tesla tires are designed and manufactured to optimize performance, safety, reliability and durability. Naturally, due to normal usage and aging, tires degrade over time from the effects of ultraviolet light, extreme temperatures, loading and environmental exposure. T Sportline recommends replacing OEM Tesla tires exclusively with exact replacements. T Sportline Tesla factory replacement tire listings include, but are not limited to replacement OEM-spec Tesla factory tires.

        Recommended Tesla Tire Rotation
T Sportline recommends rotating your tires every 6,250 miles or sooner if tread depth varies between any of the 4 tires by 2/32 in or greater. Aggressive driving or harsh environments can lead to premature tire wear and may require more frequent tire inspection. Unbalanced and misaligned wheels affect ride quality, vehicle handling, tire life and driveline component longevity. Tesla lug nuts are 21mm socket heads and must be torqued to 129 ft-lbs / 175 Nm

Maintaining Proper Tire Pressures on Teslas
T Sportline recommends keeping tires inflated to the pressures shown on the Tesla Tire and Loading Information label, even if it differs from the pressure printed on the tire itself. The Tire and Loading Information label is located midway up on the center door pillar and is visible when the driver’s door is open. T Sportline's recommended Tesla Tire inflator is HERE.

Checking and Adjusting Tesla Tire Pressure

When your Tesla has been stationary and out of direct sunlight for over three hours:

        • Remove the tire air valve stem cap (unscrew cap by hand).
        • Firmly press a tire pressure gauge onto the valve stem tip to measure pressure (a small amount of air will escape during measurement, which is normal).
        • Compare reading to Tesla Tire Pressure specification (found on the Tire and Loading Information label located midway up on the center door pillar, visible only when the driver’s door is open), add or remove air to match the recommended pressure. Reduce pressure by by pressing the metal pin in the center of the valve. Increase pressure using an appropriate tire inflator pump or compressed air source.
        • Re-check pressure using the tire pressure gauge.
        • Re-install the valve stem cap (hand tighten)
        • Important note: Under-inflation is the most common cause of tire failures and can cause a tire to overheat, resulting in severe tire cracking, tread separation, or blowout, which causes unexpected loss of car control and increased risk of injury. Under-inflation also reduces the car's range and tire tread life.
        • Tesla TPMS sensors require driving for a short period of time before updated pressure readings are recorded accurately. Expect TPMS readings to reflect accurate tire pressure readings after driving 5 miles.

        Factors impacting tire pressure readings:

        • Ambient temperature - Air pressure increases in heat and decreases in cold.
        • Tire temperature – Tires warm up during use.
        • Sunlight – directly sunlight will increase tire temperature and thereby tire pressure.
