Each MX118 wheel is fully forged from high-strength aluminum and CNC-machined to reduce unnecessary mass while retaining a robust structure for high-torque Tesla driving. Each wheel carries a 900 kg (1,984 lbs) load rating. The design was evaluated using finite-element analysis under a 3,400 lb load, and the wheel is manufactured in a TÜV-certified facility. Fully forged construction emphasizes strength-to-weight performance, crisp handling and a refined performance look.

21-Inch Performance Stance

The 21-inch setup sits between the factory Model X 20-inch and 22-inch wheels. Its 40-series tires have a lower profile than the factory 20-inch tires, for a more performance-focused appearance and sharper steering response, and taller sidewalls than the factory 22-inch tires, which help ride comfort and protect the wheels from potholes and curbs. The 265/40R21 front and 285/40R21 rear tires keep overall diameters within 1% of the factory Model X tire sizes.

Staggered Fitment

The staggered setup uses 21x9.5" front and 21x10.5" rear wheels with 265/40R21 front and 285/40R21 rear tires. Because the front and rear wheel widths and tire sizes differ, staggered wheel and tire packages cannot be rotated front to rear.

Follow the recommended cold tire pressures on your vehicle's Tire and Loading Information label (located inside the driver-side door jamb). Check pressure after the vehicle has been parked out of direct sunlight for more than three hours. Use our AMAXX Tesla Digital Tire Inflator for convenient pressure checks and adjustments.
Staggered fitments cannot be rotated front to rear.
When installing wheels, torque the 21mm lug nuts to 129 lb-ft (175 Nm).
After tire service, drive above 15 mph (25 km/h) for a short time to allow the TPMS readings to update.
Tire pressure changes with temperature, driving and sunlight. Underinflation can reduce range, accelerate wear and create a safety risk.
Teslas do not come with a spare! Consider purchasing a Tesla spare tire package to ensure you never get stranded with a flat.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package. Also, we use factory-size or acceptable alternate size tires only.
