    • Description

Tesla brake calipers have come in either black or red finishes, depending on model and performance levels.  T Sportline has led the market in offering bespoke custom painted paint caliper services at our facilities in Los Angeles and Atlanta.  Ourcaliper paint is a 2k (two-part) catalyzed high-temp rated professional-grade paint. The aerosol spray can features an integrated catalyzer component which is activated using the cap plunger. The premium spray nozzle deliveries an optimal pattern for painting calipers. The professional 2k paint requires the use of a protective breathing respirator, available optionally in our complete DIY kit. Due to the permanent nature of the paint, we recommend using a full vehicle cover to ensure no overspray bonds to the underlying vehicle.   The T Sportline DIY caliper paint kit is perfect for finishing the raw aluminum Cybertruck calipers in red or black, or for color changing any Tesla model brake calipers into a red performance-looking finish.

      Recommendations:

While it is not absolutely necessary, we recommend removing the caliper from suspension upright, but not removing the caliper from the vehicle (no need to disconnect the brake line). Subsequently, removing brake pads from the caliper will allow cleaning all caliper surfaces and is also recommended.  While paint will not harm caliper seals, we recommend masking off caliper pistons, seals, bleeder screws, and brake lines for a professional finish. Do not paint brake rotors or brake pad friction surfaces – mask these surfaces off.  If calipers are unbolted, be careful not to overly bend, kink or pull on brake lines. Calipers should never ‘hang’ using brake lines.
