The design was evaluated using finite-element analysis under a 3,400 lb load, and the wheel is manufactured in a TÜV-certified facility. Fully forged construction emphasizes strength-to-weight performance, crisp handling and a refined performance look.

21-Inch Performance Stance

The 21-inch setup delivers the most performance-focused appearance and sharpest steering response of the Model Y wheel sizes. Compared with 18-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch setups, 21-inch wheels use lower-profile tires, which generally provide a firmer ride and less sidewall protection against potholes and curbs.

Choose the factory Model Y Performance 255/35R21 front and 275/35R21 rear tire sizes, or wider 275/35R21 front and 295/35R21 rear tires for a more aggressive stance and additional wheel protection.

Follow the recommended cold tire pressures on your vehicle's Tire and Loading Information label (located inside the driver-side door jamb). Check pressure after the vehicle has been parked out of direct sunlight for more than three hours. Use our AMAXX Tesla Digital Tire Inflator for convenient pressure checks and adjustments.
Staggered fitments cannot be rotated front to rear.
When installing wheels, torque the 21mm lug nuts to 129 lb-ft (175 Nm).
After tire service, drive approximately five miles to allow the TPMS readings to update.
Tire pressure changes with temperature, driving and sunlight. Underinflation can reduce range, accelerate wear and create a safety risk.
Teslas do not come with a spare! Consider purchasing a Tesla spare tire package to ensure you never get stranded with a flat.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. Also, we use factory-size or acceptable alternate size tires only. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package.
