19” wheels

Downsizing from the factory 20-inch or 22-inch Model X wheels to a 19-inch wheel creates room for a taller tire sidewall, helping absorb sharp impacts from rough pavement and potholes while providing additional protection from curb contact. The 265/50R19 tire keeps an overall diameter close to the factory tires, and the 255/55R19 overland option adds even more sidewall for a rugged stance.

20” wheels

The 20-inch setup matches the diameter of the factory Model X 20-inch wheels, preserving a balanced ride, range and handling while delivering a distinctive aftermarket appearance. Compared with the factory 22-inch wheels, it offers a softer ride, more range and taller sidewalls that help protect the wheels from potholes and curbs.

21” wheels

The 21-inch setup sits between the factory Model X 20-inch and 22-inch wheels. Its 40-series tires have a lower profile than the factory 20-inch tires, for a more performance-focused appearance and sharper steering response, and taller sidewalls than the factory 22-inch tires, which help ride comfort and protect the wheels from potholes and curbs. The 265/40R21 front and 285/40R21 rear tires keep overall diameters within 1% of the factory Model X tire sizes.

22” wheels

The 22-inch setup matches the diameter and tire sizes of the factory Model X 22-inch package—265/35R22 front and 285/35R22 rear—for the boldest look and sharpest steering response of the Model X wheel sizes. Compared with the factory 20-inch wheels, its lower-profile 35-series tires give a firmer ride, less range and less sidewall protection against potholes and curbs.
