Description

Upgrade your Tesla Model X with the T Sportline TXL117 22-inch fully forged wheel and tire package. Part of the T Sportline TXL (Tesla eXtra Lightweight) fully forged lineup, the TXL117 combines a performance-inspired design with premium forged monoblock construction. Built specifically for the Model X, it accepts factory Tesla lug nuts, center caps and TPMS sensors, and includes dual knurled bead seats to help resist tire slippage under high torque. The staggered 22x9-inch front and 22x10-inch rear setup features a +20mm offset front and rear, a 900 kg (1,984 lbs) load rating per wheel and the factory Model X 22-inch tire sizes—265/35R22 front and 285/35R22 rear. Compared with the factory 20-inch wheels, the 22-inch setup delivers a bolder look and sharper steering response, with a firmer ride, less range and shorter sidewalls. The seven finish options are Satin Black, Gloss Black, Anthracite Gray, Cyber Bronze, Brushed Clear, Diamond Black and Custom Finish. Professionally mounted and balanced wheel-and-tire packages arrive ready for installation.

22-Inch Performance Stance

The 22-inch setup matches the diameter and tire sizes of the factory Model X 22-inch package—265/35R22 front and 285/35R22 rear—for the boldest look and sharpest steering response of the Model X wheel sizes. Compared with the factory 20-inch wheels, its lower-profile 35-series tires give a firmer ride, less range and less sidewall protection against potholes and curbs.

Ultra Strength & Lightest Wheels for Tesla

TXL117 fully forged wheels represent the next level in wheel strength, weight reduction, and performance. Each wheel is manufactured from a solid block of high-strength aluminum using a precision forging and CNC-machining process in a TÜV-certified facility. While our flow-forged wheels already provide a significant upgrade over typical gravity-cast factory Tesla wheels, fully forged construction takes performance even further. The forging process produces a stronger, more refined material structure, allowing us to remove additional material and reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The result is an exceptionally strong, lightweight wheel engineered to reduce unsprung mass, improve resistance to road-hazard damage, and help preserve vehicle efficiency and range—making fully forged TXL117 wheels our premium choice for Tesla owners seeking the highest level of wheel performance.

Tire Comparison & Selection Guide

265/35R22 Front / 285/35R22 Rear Fitment	Choosing a Tire Model
Tire Type	Factory Model X 22-inch tire sizes	Summer, all-season or winter
Range & Efficiency	Factory 22-inch baseline—less range than the factory 20-inch setup	Rolling resistance and tread compound vary by tire model; EV-specific tires focus on efficiency
Ride Comfort	Lower-profile 35-series tires ride firmer than the factory 20-inch tires	EV-specific tires with noise-cancelling foam help reduce cabin noise
Pothole Protection	Shortest sidewall of the Model X tire sizes	Correct cold tire pressure is essential for maximum protection
Curb Protection	Low-profile 35-series sidewall	Sidewall shape and rim-protector design vary by tire model
Handling & Steering	Lowest-profile tires for the sharpest steering response	The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tire provides the sharpest response
Dry Traction	Wider 285 rear tires help put power down	The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tire provides maximum warm-weather grip
Wet & Snow Traction	Depends on tire model	Dedicated winter tires offer the most cold-weather and snow capability
Tire Rotation	No front-to-rear rotation	Front and rear pairs may need replacement at different times

265/35R22 Front / 285/35R22 Rear Fitment: The factory Model X 22-inch tire sizes deliver the boldest look and sharpest steering response, with a firmer ride and less sidewall protection than the factory 20-inch tires.

Choose the tire model for your driving: Select the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for maximum warm-weather grip, an all-season tire for year-round flexibility, or the Vredestein Wintrac Pro winter tire for cold and snowy conditions.

Rating Key: Not Rated Good Better Best

Choose the right tire type for your driving: All-season for everyday use, all-weather for enhanced year-round versatility, summer for warm-weather performance, or dedicated winter tires for cold and snowy conditions. Tire model, rolling resistance, construction, inflation pressure, compound and tread design also affect driving characteristics.

Follow the recommended cold tire pressures on your vehicle's Tire and Loading Information label (located inside the driver-side door jamb). Check pressure after the vehicle has been parked out of direct sunlight for more than three hours. Use our AMAXX Tesla Digital Tire Inflator for convenient pressure checks and adjustments.
Staggered fitments cannot be rotated front to rear.
When installing wheels, torque the 21mm lug nuts to 129 lb-ft (175 Nm).
After tire service, drive above 15 mph (25 km/h) for a short time to allow the TPMS readings to update.
Tire pressure changes with temperature, driving and sunlight. Underinflation can reduce range, accelerate wear and create a safety risk.
Teslas do not come with a spare! Consider purchasing a Tesla spare tire package to ensure you never get stranded with a flat.

Can I use my Aero Covers / Hubcaps on the 22" TXL117?
No, the Aero Covers / Hubcaps only fit on your factory wheels.

Which tire sizes are offered with the 22" TXL117 package?

Do your TXL117 wheels fit my factory center caps?
Yes, 22x9" and 22x10" TXL117 wheels fit your factory Tesla center caps. They also fit your factory TPMS sensors and factory lug nuts, so no aftermarket wheel hardware is required.

How are the 22" TXL117 wheels made?
They are fully forged monoblock wheels, precision CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum and manufactured in a TÜV-certified facility.

Do I need to change the color of my existing lug nuts and center caps to match my new TXL117 wheels?
That's an aesthetic decision only you can make. All TXL117 wheels come with T Sportline color-matched center caps.

What is the warranty on TXL117 wheels?

How long until my TXL117 wheels arrive after my order?
We process orders within 72 hours when your wheels are in stock; if we do not have them in stock, lead time is typically 4–5 weeks. Please allow 1–7 business days of transit time from the day you receive a tracking number. We will email you if your wheels are back-ordered.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide and offer flat rate FedEx/DHL shipping to select countries.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. Also, we use factory-size or acceptable alternate size tires only. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package.

What is the load rating of the 22-inch TXL117 wheel?
Each fully forged TXL117 wheel carries a 900 kg (1,984 lbs) load rating. The 22x9" and 22x10" wheel weights are to be confirmed.

No. The front and rear wheels and tires use different sizes (22x9" front / 22x10" rear with 265/35R22 front and 285/35R22 rear tires), so the wheel and tire assemblies cannot be rotated front to rear.

Which TXL117 wheel finishes are offered?
