Description

Transform your Tesla Model Y for the road less traveled with the T Sportline T6B 18-inch forged beadlock overland wheel and tire package. The bold six-spoke T6B features a functional bolt-on beadlock ring and knurled inner bead surfaces, combining off-road capability with premium forged construction. Each 18x8.5-inch wheel has a 900 kg load rating and weighs approximately 31.7 lbs. The 255/55R18 all-terrain tires provide a taller sidewall for additional cushioning and a larger overall tire diameter for approximately 0.5 inches of extra ground clearance compared with the factory setup. Engineered for Tesla Model Y, the T6B uses a square fitment for conventional tire rotation and retains compatibility with factory Tesla lug nuts, center caps and TPMS sensors. Fully Forged Strength & Durability

The T6B is a fully forged monoblock wheel engineered for the additional demands of overland driving. Precision machining produces its bold six-spoke design while maintaining a 900 kg (1,984 lbs) load rating per wheel. The forged construction is designed to deliver strength and durability on pavement and uneven terrain.

Each 18x8.5" T6B weighs approximately 31.7 lbs. As a functional beadlock wheel, weight should be considered alongside the added hardware and capability rather than directly compared with lightweight street-wheel designs.

18-Inch Overland Ride & Ground Clearance

The 255/55R18 tire adds sidewall height to help cushion sharp impacts from rough pavement, gravel and trail surfaces. The overall tire diameter is approximately 28.9 inches, compared with the 28-inch stock diameter, raising ground clearance by approximately 0.5 inches on stock suspension.

No lift kit is required for this wheel and tire package. For more demanding adventures, T Sportline also offers a lift kit and complementary protection accessories; combined with the lift kit, the package provides approximately 2.3 inches of total additional clearance.

Functional Beadlock & Knurled Bead Seats

The T6B features a functional 24-point bolt-on beadlock ring designed to secure the outer tire bead during lower-pressure off-road use. Knurled inner bead surfaces provide additional grip against tire movement. Unlike beadlock-look styling, this system is engineered for functional off-road traction and control.

Beadlock assembly, fastener torque, inspection and tire-pressure practices require special care. Follow the applicable T6B installation and maintenance instructions. Reduced tire pressures should be used only when appropriate for the terrain, load and tire manufacturer guidance; restore the specified road pressure before normal road driving.

Follow the recommended cold tire pressures on your vehicle's Tire and Loading Information label (located inside the driver-side door jamb). Check pressure after the vehicle has been parked out of direct sunlight for more than three hours. Use our AMAXX Tesla Digital Tire Inflator for convenient pressure checks and adjustments.
Rotate tires every 6,250 miles, or sooner if tread-depth difference reaches 2/32 inch, to help maximize tread life and maintain even wear.
When installing wheels, torque the 21mm lug nuts to 129 lb-ft (175 Nm).
Beadlock ring bolts use separate manufacturer-specified procedures and torque values.
Inspect beadlock components and tire condition before and after off-road use. Have the beadlock ring installed and maintained according to the wheel manufacturer's instructions.
After tire service, drive approximately five miles to allow the TPMS readings to update.
Tire pressure changes with temperature, driving and sunlight. Underinflation can reduce range, accelerate wear and create a safety risk.
Teslas do not come with a spare! Consider purchasing a Tesla spare tire package to ensure you never get stranded with a flat.

Do your T6B wheels fit my factory center caps?
Yes, 18x8.5" T6B wheels fit your factory Tesla center caps. They also fit your factory TPMS sensors and factory lug nuts, so no aftermarket wheel hardware is required.

How are the 18" T6B wheels made?
They are fully forged monoblock wheels with a 24-point bolt-on beadlock ring and knurled inner bead surfaces, tested to JWL, VIA, SAE J2530 and TÜV standards.

Do I need to change the color of my existing lug nuts and center caps to match my new T6B wheels?

How long until my T6B wheels arrive after my order?
We process orders within 72 hours when your wheels are in stock; if we do not have them in stock, lead time is typically 4–5 weeks. Please allow 1–7 business days of transit time from the day you receive a tracking number. We will email you if your wheels are back-ordered.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. Also, we use factory-size or acceptable alternate size tires only. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package.

Does the T6B 18" overland package require a suspension lift?
No. The 18x8.5" +20mm T6B wheel and 255/55R18 tire package fits the Tesla Model Y on stock suspension. An optional T Sportline lift kit can increase clearance for more demanding adventures.

How much ground clearance does the package add?
The 255/55R18 tire measures approximately 28.9" in overall diameter, compared with the 28" factory diameter. This provides approximately 0.5" of extra ground clearance on stock suspension, and approximately 2.3" of total additional clearance with the optional T Sportline Lift Kit.

Are the T6B wheels functional beadlocks or beadlock-look wheels?
The T6B features a functional bolt-on beadlock ring designed to help retain the tire bead at reduced pressures during appropriate off-road use. The wheel also has knurled inner bead surfaces. Installation, torque, inspection and maintenance of beadlock components must follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Can I drive at reduced tire pressure on public roads?
Do not use trail-specific reduced inflation pressures for normal road driving. Follow Tesla's recommended road tire pressures and the tire and wheel manufacturers' instructions. Reduced pressures are only for suitable off-road conditions with the required precautions.

Will the larger tires affect my speedometer?
Possibly. The 255/55R18 tires have approximately 3% greater diameter than the 28" factory tires. Actual speed, distance indications and efficiency can therefore differ. Check your vehicle settings and verify speed indications as needed.

How much do T6B wheels weigh?
Each 18x8.5" T6B wheel weighs 31.7 lbs. Weight does not include the tire, TPMS sensor or vehicle lug nuts.
