    • Description

As the leader in aftermarket upgraded Tesla wheels, we are pleased to offer this upgraded 'dust and rust free' brake rotor and pad replacement setup.   These easy DIY bolt-on replacement brake components will keep your wheels looking fresh and clean!  Factory Tesla Model S / X rotors are prone to rust and factory Tesla Model S / X brake pads cause the dreaded 'brake dust' that looks nasty on wheels.   The included Tesla Model S / X rotors are fully Geomet coated for maximum protection against rust and corrosion.   The included Tesla Model S / X brake pads are ceramic 'low-dust' formula Z17 pads which also feature a dual-layer rubberized shim backing to better insulate against noise and squeals, a simple bolt-on upgrade versus stock pads.

T Sportline teamed up with the brake experts at PowerStop to bring this braking solution to market.  Powerstop is known for bringing quality brakes to every vehicle on the road. Because when we can all stop better, the roads are a safer place!

Installation - Stock Replacement DIY or Professional

      After installation break-in procedure:

1 - After installation, perform 30 decelerations from 30 mph to 5 mph with 30 seconds in between each deceleration for cooling. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot.

2 - If you're forced to stop, complete the stop and either shift the vehicle into park or give room in front so you can allow the vehicle to roll slightly while waiting for the traffic light. The rotors will be very hot and holding down the brake pedal will force the brake pad to contact the rotor and possibly create an imprint on the rotor. This imprint may contribute to the creation of brake shudder.

3 - Once this is completed and the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally. Never cool your brakes with water, as this can damage them.
