Can you fit a 2016 Tesla Bumper on a 2013 Tesla?
- Front Bumper Refresh available for pre-facelift Tesla Model S 1.0 owners (2012 – May 2016)
- OEM quality material and manufacturing
- Use all pre-existing factory hardware and sensors
The short answer: no. A handful of pre-facelift Tesla Model S owners have attempted to fit a 2016 Tesla Model S bumper to their pre-facelift Model S. They are left with a large hole between the front bumper assembly and the hood bonnet. This hole will lead to unintentional drag as air passes into the frunk and becomes trapped.
T Sportline has the perfect solution: Front Bumper Refresh aka FBR. The Front Bumper Refresh allows all 2012 - May 2016 Tesla Model S 1.0 owners to make their Model S look like the facelift Model S 2.0 front bumper!
Aimed towards Model S 1.0 owners, this front bumper replacement is manufactured to factory quality standards from OEM grade polyurethane using a steel injection mold in a CAPA certified facility. The FBR is a direct replacement for a Model S 1.0 Bumper.
Our Front Bumper Refresh reuses all of Model S 1.0’s existing factory hardware which includes the fog lights, lower center grille, tesla ‘T’ emblem, and applicable autopilot & parking sensors. We also include a new ‘V’ chrome accent trim to give older Model S a matching 2.0 look.
It is so easy to install, a qualified body shop just needs to professionally prep, paint and install.
