• Disclaimer: From the inception of the Tesla Model S in 2012 all the way to the facelift refresh in mid-2016, the Tesla Model S had a large variation in panel gaps. In other words, no two Tesla Model S were assembled the same with regards to panel gaps.
• After interviewing Tesla Service Technicians, Tesla Authorized Body Shops and taking over 100+ Tesla Model S apart ourselves, we can confidently say that our front bumper is within Tesla panel gap tolerance of ~10mm.

What is dimensional weight?

Dimensional weight, or volumetric weight, is the pricing technique for commercial freight transport. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying length, width, and height of the package to get the cubic size. Even though a large box may weigh 30 lbs, all shipping companies consider a large box as an oversize package for standard shipping methods (i.e. UPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express).

Traditionally, packages of a certain size will not be accepted by standard shipping (i.e. UPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express) and will ship through freight services such as FedEx Freight or UPS Freight. We use FedEx Freight. Shipping cost and delivery time vary depending on your delivery address.

Will your Front Bumper Refresh void my warranty?

Changing your front bumper won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our Front Bumper Refresh caused the need for repairs. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your door handles get stuck, even if you've upgraded to our Front Bumper Refresh.
