Morimoto Blackout and Yellow Hard covers are injection molded polymer for precision snap fit on 1/2/4Banger LED light pods.  The Blackout / Yellow covers are basically indestructible since they are hard plastic.  Simply pop on and off as needed.

Manufactured from rugged UV-stable polycarbonate, they're available in transparent Yellow for enhanced visibility in dust, rain, snow, or fog, or opaque Black to provide added protection and a clean, stealth appearance when your lights aren't in use.  Designed specifically for Morimoto 1Banger and 2Banger and 4Banger pods, these covers install in seconds—simply align the cover with the front of your light pod and snap it into place. The molded Morimoto "M" logo aligns with the matching logo on the top of the pod for a perfect fit every time. No tools required, making it easy to install, remove, or swap between Yellow and Black covers whenever conditions or your style call for it.

STREET LEGALITY: When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for an for auxiliary high beam. With a standard -4 degree aim, the beam pattern produced by both the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models has been verified compliant with the latest SAE F regulation for use as a street-legal fog light. You can see the test data in the "Compatibility" section below. Some localities require auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving. To comply, the optional Covers are designed to fit all Morimoto 1, 2 or 4Banger LED Pods, and are a friction + clip fit that installs with ease, and can be removed in seconds.
