DIY Vinyl Wrapping Cybertruck
Welcome! It’s time to take T Sportline’s masterclass in DIY wrapping your Cybertruck. No prior film installation knowledge or experience is necessary, only willingness and patience to learn a new skillset. You will find that if you carefully follow the instructions in our videos and take your time mastering these new skills, the process will be straightforward, reasonably doable and fun. In our video series we will start with the basics. We will walk through the components you received in your kit and how to use them, how to prepare your vehicle and workspace, the basics of vinyl application, tips and tricks for how to avoid or deal with common issues, and then a detailed panel-by-panel installation guide for how to approach each specific Cybertruck body panel.
First we will start with removing some trim and mirrors, so we can properly install film up under these edges for proper coverage. Next, the Cybertruck must be very thoroughly washed and all wrap surfaces carefully prepped & inspected. We recommend completing these trim removal, wash, and prep steps a day prior to starting on the film, so the entire Cybertruck has time to thoroughly air dry.
Once the truck is fully prepped, it will need to stay inside a clean and closed garage during the rest of the process, which will take another few of days. There can be no driving the Cybertruck during the wrap process, or the entire wash and prep will need repeated. Cleanliness is of paramount importance!
Let’s walk through how the vinyl application process works and discuss some of the common issues that you may run into. We will also build some comfort and confidence with the vinyl application process by applying a few practice panels to the truck. Get ready, it’s almost time for the fun part!

Panel Specific DIY Wrap Installation Videos
It’s wrap time! Watch each of the videos as we take you through our recommended application method for each Cybertruck panel. We recommend you work through the panels in the sequence of videos (start with PART 1, then PART 2, etc). As you complete installation of each panel, your DIY skills will grow and serve to help on the subsequent panel. Since each Cybertruck side panel is just mirrored from the Driver’s to the Passenger’s side, we will only show wrapping the passenger’s side in these videos. Once you complete the passenger side wrap, simply repeat the same process on the same panel of the driver’s side next. If you encounter issues at any point in this process, refer back to the Tips & Tricks video for solutions. Still not sure how to work through a problem? T Sportline has created two separate series of videos to help any newbie apply a professional wrap job to their Cybertruck. In the long format series, Miguel, a professional wrapper with over 10 years of experience, will take you, in near real time, through each step of each panel. These 16-58 minute long videos remain in-depth from the first panel to the last.
In the short format series, Brian, our DIY-CEO, will coach you on each step of the process on the first panel. Then as your expertise grows with subsequent panels, the instruction shifts to panel specific steps and important process reminders that act as great primers to watch before each panel installation. While the first video is 22 minutes long, they gradually work down to about 4-5 minutes.
We find that most people get everything they need from the shorter series and prefer the quicker pace, but others enjoy having someone with them every step of the way. Feel free to try both and find the best match for you.

Congratulations! You have DIY wrapped your Cybertruck. It’s time to take a step back and admire your work.
There are just a few last things that you should keep in mind about your newly wrapped Cybertruck:
- Just like paint, vinyl wrap can be scratched if washed with dirty wash mitts. Always use clean and dirt-free washing supplies. Some customers choose not to use commercial car washes to avoid these risks.
- Over the course of the first week or so, you may see a few bubbles raise in the film. This is normal, as sunlight and changing temperature can cause this the beginning. You can carefully press those bubbles down as needed.
- Accidents happen! If you have a panel get scratched or damaged, please reach out our support team to order replacement panels whenever needed.

DIY PPF for Cybertruck
Welcome! It’s time to take T Sportline’s masterclass in DIY installing PPF on your Cybertruck. No prior PPF installation knowledge or experience is necessary, only willingness and patience to learn a new skillset. You will find that if you carefully follow the instructions in our videos and take your time mastering these new skills, the process will be straightforward, reasonably doable and fun. In our video series we will start with the basics. We will walk through the components you received in your kit and how to use them, how to prepare your vehicle and workspace, the basics of PPF wet application, tips and tricks for how to avoid or deal with common issues, and then a detailed panel-by-panel installation guide for how to approach each specific Cybertruck body panel.
First we will start with removing some trim and mirrors, so we can properly install PPF film up under these edges for proper coverage. Next, the Cybertruck must be very thoroughly washed and all stainless surfaces carefully prepped & inspected. We recommend completing these trim removal, wash, and prep steps carefully before starting the installation. Since PPF is installed wet, there is no concern waiting for the truck to dry before starting the PPF installation.
Once the truck is fully prepped, it will need to stay inside a clean and closed garage during the rest of the process, which will take another few of days. There can be no driving the Cybertruck during the PPF installation process, or the entire wash and prep will need repeated. Cleanliness is of paramount importance!

We recommend that you watch all the installation videos before getting started on your first panel.
