Position:
Operations Manager
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including: Receiving(freight), returns, picking, packing, and outbound shipping
- Oversee tire/wheel mounting and balancing operations, safety, and quality
- Collaborate with executive team to develop scalable growth plans
- Continuously refine processes and work to improve overall company performance
- Manage accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts & physical counts
- Manage both local and remote facility operations teams
- Build warehouse team by hiring and retaining quality talent
- Coach, motivate, develop and manage warehouse associates
- Lead by example (roll the sleeves up mentality) and promote a cooperative winning team attitude
- Manage key projects and execute as planned
- Manage building facilities as it relates to safety, maintenance, repairs and cleanliness; always ensures safe working conditions in the facility
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure it is maintained
Who You Are
- Embrace working fast-paced in a company that is rapidly growing
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of supervisory experience in direct-to-consumer warehouse distribution environment (daily shipments, maintaining KPIs for performance)
- Aftermarket automotive experience and passion preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop a collaborative team
- WMS Proficiency experience required
- Proficiency in FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL carrier platforms
- Proficiency in a tech-based environment, Shopify, Microsoft Office, Slack, Click-up, etc.
- Experience in inventory control management
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to function with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a process- improvement approach
- Willingness to change and lead others through change
- Ability to travel occasionally to other company facilities
