Position:

Junior Accountant

 

What You’ll Do

• Accounts Receivable: Review and Post payments daily, then Reconcile A/R Aging weekly
• Cash: Reconcile bank accounts daily
• Accounts Payable: Enter bills daily, Receive purchase orders, and Process timely payments
• Fixed Assets: Record assets, set useful life, and maintain Roll-forward schedule
• Inventory: Verify item receipts and help resolve discrepancies with Operations teams
• Sales Tax: Process Sales Tax returns monthly
• General Ledger: Post journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Financial Statements: Assist in preparing the monthly Reporting package

 

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with Accounting or Finance concentration
• 1-5 years of experience in accounting department for small to midsize business
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with all departments
• Strong Analytical skills
• Keen Attention to Detail
• Strong Problem-solving skills
• Ability to function with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
