T Sportline's carbon fiber body & interior component installer kit is a convenient package of two (2) Dupli-Color Wax and Grease Remover Prep Wipes and two (2) 3M Adhesion Promoter Sponges.   Use this kit to properly prep and securely install body and interior components that utilize 3M automotive body adhesive tape.   

Dupli-Color™ Wax and Grease Remover Prep Wipe Towelette (2 included)

• Recommended for use with all T Sportline touch-up paints and adhesive backed badges, emblems, and carbon fiber body components. 
• Helps ensure proper surface preparation for touch-up paint adhesion and robust attachment of emblems, trim and body components
• Towelette measures 8.5 in x 11 in with 0.5 fl oz of solution 

Our Dupli-Color™ Prep Wipe is specially formulated to remove oil, wax, grease and other contaminants from the surface for enhancing the adhesion of touch-up paint and 3M™ double-sided tapes in automotive applications. This prep wipe is recommended for use with all T Sportline touch-up paint and adhesive backed interior and exterior automotive trim and parts.  Wax and grease remover is used by all professional body shops and wheel repair technicians during touch-up, re-paint, and body component attachment preparation.  Note, traditional car wash or dish soap will not effectively remove residual oil, wax and grease.  This prep wipe is formulated specifically to be safe for use on all automotive paints, trim and wheels.

After wiping surfaces, the solution dries in 30 to 90 seconds for fast and efficient preparation — once dry, it is ready to accept the touch-up paint or attachment tape. The wax and grease remover solution is incorporated into an easy-to-use prep wipe inside a notched packet.

Our 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 06396 is a convenient liquid primer for enhancing the adhesion of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes in automotive applications. This adhesion promoter works with all T Sportline adhesive backed interior and exterior automotive trim and parts.

Enhanced Adhesion in Convenient Packets
Formulated specifically for use with 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tapes, our 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 06396 promotes a permanent bond with most low surface energy plastic materials commonly used in automotive instrument panel, interior trim and exterior trim parts. The liquid primer dries in 30 to 90 seconds for fast and efficient application — once dry, it is ready to accept the attachment tape. The adhesion promoter is incorporated into an easy-to-use sponge inside a notched packet. Technicians simply tear open the top of the packet at the notches to expose the sponge and, using the bottom of the packet as an applicator, apply the fluid to the auto trim or part.

Badge and Emblem Adhesion Promoter Usage Notice
Only apply Adhesion Promoter to the area directly where the badge adhesive will attach and cover.   Adhesion Promoter may leave a slight residue on the paint.  The any excess residue around the badge can be washed off after applying the badge or emblem.  Car wash soapy water and wash mitt or microfiber towel can be used to scrub off residue.  Be careful not to snag the badge emblem edges or pry against them during washing.
