The TSR 18-inch wheel and tire package is designed for Tesla Model Y owners who want to improve efficiency, reduce rotating mass and gain additional ride comfort without sacrificing proper vehicle fitment. Compared with the factory 19x9.5-inch Model Y wheel, the 18x8.5-inch TSR is both smaller in diameter and narrower, reducing wheel weight and tire frontal area.
At approximately 22.5 lbs per wheel, the TSR saves about 7.6 lbs per wheel versus the referenced factory 19-inch setup, reducing total wheel mass by approximately 30.4 lbs per vehicle. The narrower 18-inch tire package also reduces frontal area, supporting a more efficiency-focused setup.
The smaller wheel diameter allows a taller tire sidewall for additional cushioning over potholes and rough pavement. This added sidewall also provides more protection against curb contact than larger-diameter, lower-profile wheel and tire combinations.

The TSR 18x8.5" wheel is one inch smaller in diameter and one inch narrower than the referenced factory 19x9.5" Model Y wheel. The reduced wheel mass and narrower tire frontal area are intended to support efficiency-focused driving.
At approximately 22.5 lbs per wheel, the TSR is about 7.2 lbs lighter per wheel than the factory 19-inch Juniper wheel, for approximately 28.8 lbs of wheel-weight savings per vehicle.
The smaller wheel diameter provides room for a taller tire sidewall, adding cushioning over rough pavement and potholes while increasing wheel protection compared with larger-diameter, lower-profile setups.
TSR wheels are Flow Forged and tested to JWL, VIA and SAE J2530 standards.
The 18x8.5" square setup uses the same wheel and tire size at all four corners, allowing conventional front-to-rear tire rotation.

No, the Aero Covers / Hubcaps only fit on your factory wheels.
Do your TSR wheels fit my factory center caps?
Yes, 18x8.5" TSR wheels fit your factory Tesla center caps. They also fit your factory TPMS and your factory lug nuts. In other words, there's no need to use any aftermarket hardware.
How are the 18" TSR wheels made?
They are Flow Forged. The 18x8.5" TSR wheels are manufactured in a Flow Forged process. They are tested to the JWL, VIA, SAE J2530 & TÜV standard.
Do I need to change the color of my existing lug nuts and center caps to match my new TSR wheels?
That's an aesthetic decision only you can make. All TSR Wheels come with T Sportline color-matched center caps. For those who purchase Satin Gray or Satin Black finish, we recommend purchasing our Lug Nut Cap Covers in Black for a stealth appearance.

Will installing your Wheel & Tire Package void my warranty?
Changing wheels and tires won't void your Tesla warranty unless Tesla can prove that our wheels caused the need for repairs. Also, we use factory-size tires only. In other words, your warranty will still be valid when your windshield wiper malfunctions, even if you've upgraded to our Wheel & Tire Package.
