The T Sportline Tesla Fitment Carbon Fiber Mud Flaps are made from ultra-strong and authentic carbon fiber.  We carefully chose a carbon weave to make these flaps look like right at home on the Tesla.  T Sportline Carbon Fiber Mud Flaps are shorter than factory Tesla OEM mud flaps, ensuring T Sportline’s are safe for driving over speed bumps, driveway curbs, and potholes – Tesla mud flaps and most other aftermarket mud flaps are known for ‘scraping’ the ground or ‘cracking’ from impacts.  With range efficiency in mind, the T Sportline Mud Flaps are designed to fit directly behind your wheel in the air stream draft of the wheel to avoid increased drag or reduced range.

T Sportline Mud Flap kits include flaps for all four (4) wheels.  As carbon fiber mud flaps, they are stronger than other inferior ‘plastic’ mud flap and T Sportline Carbon Fiber Mud Flaps will not bend in the wind.

The T Sportline kit is complete, including all 4 mud flaps, adhesion promoter, and cleaning microfiber towel.  The mud flaps require no drilling or screwing or prying into fender gaps!  T Sportline Mud Flaps install using safe and secure 3m body adhesive tape, exactly the same adhesive tape Tesla uses to attach factory spoilers, badges, and front license plate holders.   Additionally, the mud flaps are further secured by utilizing existing factory push pins in a few points.

For best installation success, we recommend adding the optional wax and grease removed (cleaning), alcohol wipes (final wipe down of 3m tape mating surfaces on Tesla), and extra adhesion promotor (1 pack is enough to use on each tape attachment location).  

For installation prep, the cleaner the surface, the better.   3m tape adhesion will be most secure if the surface is properly prepped:

1 - Thoroughly wash the factory wheel well / cladding all around where the mud flaps attached.  Do a great job as this surface is probably filthy.  

2 - Use the wax and grease removed towelette to remove any stubborn road grim, road tar, or grease.   After using the towelette, re-wash the surfaces to remove any reside from the wax and grease remover

3 - Allow the surface to dry completely.  Once dry, pre-fit the mud flap to identify where the 3m attachment tape will mate to the vehicle.  

4 - Use the alcohol wipes to clean the surfaces where the 3m tape will connect.  Allow the surface to totally dry after wiping.

5 - Apply the adhesion promotor to the cleaned attachment surface.  Allow it to try for 5 minutes.

6 - Install mud flap by removing the backing from the 3m tape, line up the mud flap and install.  Press the areas where 3m tape connects to the vehicle.  Hold pressure on each for a few minutes.
