      Ever notice the Tesla Model 3 Highland frunk is too dark to see your contents?  T Sportline has a solution!  Our funk LED light strip is a simple DIY solution to shining bright light into your frunk.  The T Sportline LED strip plugs into the factory funk light connector and also allows for the factory light to remain functional as well.  No tools are need to install this LED light strip.   The T Sportline LED light strip will automatically turn off when the frunk is closed.   Easy DIY install, no cutting or splicing of wires, and removable if you turn your lease back into Tesla!

      FAQ - Backing tape gap over joints, is this normal?  Yes.  When the strip is rolled up for shipping the LED 'sections' are visible.  This is normal and will not affect performance.  When installing, press these joints firmly flat.


      Installation Instructions:

      1 - Clean the funk and seal area, vacuum any dust and dirt.  Pull the 'seal' up and off the plastic trim.   Grab the seal firmly and pull it up and off carefully.

      2 - The LED strip will apply to the smooth plastic lip found underneath the seal (do not attempt to attach the LED strip to the 'textured' plastic).

      3 - Apply adhesion promoter to the lower area of the smooth plastic lip where the LED strip will attach.  

      4 - Carefully pull the 'tow hook' plastic trim away from the frunk plastic tub, it will pop off.  Disconnect the switch wire from the factory connector and plug into the LED strip harness.  Connect the harness to the LED strip.  The LED will light up.  Tuck the wires in behind the frunk tub and carefully snap the 'tow hook' trim back in place so just the wire lead is hanging out of the top area.

      Note sections of the LED may not illuminate until the strip is fully installed and each strip joint is pressed flat.  Also when the seal is re-installed, it will help hold down LED strip joints.   It may take firm pressure to push down each strip joint.

      5 - Starting near the tow hook trim, start applying the LED strip to the smooth plastic lip.  Work around the full perimeter until it is fully installed.   Go back and press / hold any areas that may lift.


      6 - Re-install seal.  Seal will slightly cover the LED strip, which is normal and correct.
