Earlier this week, we were given a rare update on the Tesla Roadster from the Tesla Chief Designer Franz Von Holzhausen. While on the Spike Car Radio Podcast, Holzhausen explains:

"We are working on the Roadster. I wish we were working faster, but I also wanted to say that, in the time we have been developing it, we have also been learning a lot. Plaid is a great learning platform. All those experiences will, you know, make their way back into a much better Roadster than had we launched right after we debuted it."

After developing the impressive Model S Plaid, it is safe to assume that the Tesla Roadster will be taken to a newlevel. Holzhausen then says:

"So yeah, continuous improvements on that. It will be an amazing, exciting flying machine with the SpaceX Package."

Although people have their doubts about Tesla's main priorities after CEO Elon Musk said they will be focusing on developing the Tesla Bot, their chief designer said that they are "working on it (Tesla Roadster) feverishly."
