Tesla may be close to unveiling its long-awaited lower-cost vehicle, codenamed E41, of which has been spotted undergoing testing. The prototype featured cost-saving elements like camouflaged 18-inch wheels and a missing glass roof. This camouflaged car was seen alongside a black Model Y Performance. Both vehicles are anticipated to be produced on the same line indicating a shared manufacturing strategy for these models.

Tesla aimed to mass produce an affordable EV by June 2025. With Tesla's Q2 2025 shareholder meeting scheduled for July 23, there's a strong possibility that the company will officially reveal its budget-friendly electric vehicles during the event.
