Tesla has updated the Model 3 lineup across the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, introducing a larger 16-inch center display across all trims at no extra cost. The baseline Model 3 continues to start at $36,990. Alongside the display upgrade, performance variant trims receive noticeable specification bumps: the Model 3 Performance gets a peak power increase to 528 hp (up from 510 hp), a black headliner, and an EPA-estimated range increase to 316 miles. Additionally, the Model 3 Premium AWD sees its 0 to 60 mph acceleration drop to 3.8 seconds, down from 4.2 seconds.

Despite these updates, the North American Model 3 misses out on several features recently added to the Chinese market. It lacks vehicle-to-load capability, which allows owners to draw external AC power, as well as the new light gray interior option. Furthermore, the updates have not yet carried over to Canadian models, and Tesla has not clarified if the performance and range enhancements will be available to existing owners via software updates.
