Tesla officially launched the new Standard Range AWD Model Y and started deliveries to Tesla employees at this time.

This new Model Y has some upgrades. It comes with the new 4680 battery cells and structural battery pack technology. It also has a new magnetic center console armrest and parcel shelf.

It is capable of 279 miles of range and 0-60 mph in 5 seconds.
Its price starts at $59,990 - which is $3,000 less than the Model Y Long Range AWD.
