This week, Tesla added two new accessories to its web store: the Cybertruck tailgate shield and the Cybertruck jumpseat. Both are designed to enhance the tailgate's functionality. The tailgate shield is a pad that covers the sides of the tailgate for transporting items like bikes, and the jumpseat is a foldable, portable seat that can be attached to the tailgate shield for use or storage.

The tailgate shield is particularly useful for transporting bikes or other items that extend beyond the tailgate, offering ample internal space for securing objects. It also includes a combination lock carabiner.

According to Tesla, up to three jumpseats can be fitted along the Cybertruck's tailgate, providing a comfortable seating option for camping or outdoor activities. Currently, the Tesla store is out of stock of the jumpseat, though the tailgate shield remains available.
