Tesla has filed two new trademark applications for the long-delayed Roadster. The filings include a stylized, futuristic "ROADSTER" wordmark and a minimalist silhouette consisting of three flowing, curved lines. While these "intent to use" applications don't guarantee an immediate launch, they suggest that Tesla is refining the vehicle's identity as it nears a finalized design.

The updated silhouette appears slightly sleeker and more angular at the roof’s apex compared to the original 2017 prototype. This development comes amid a decade of delays with current estimates now targeting 2027 or 2028. Despite the timeline shifts, CEO Elon Musk continues to make bold claims about the vehicle, including a "SpaceX package" that would theoretically allow the car to hover or fly using cold-air thrusters.
