Tesla has added a swivel feature to the horizontal center screen in recent Model S/X deliveries! This new feature was requested by many Tesla owners because it increases driver visibility and also offers a better viewing experience for passengers inside the car.

Although it isn't clear when this change was added, it can be noted from sources that these vehicles were produced from the last week of April onward.

This new motorized screen can either angle toward the driver or completely face the front passenger. If the screen was facing the other way, it could potentially be used to watch videos and play games for that person.

Tesla is achieving higher levels of autonomous driving; and consequently, they are adding new layers to its infotainment system.
