Tesla is diving into the video game space with Steam. Tesla is currently working to integrate Steam's video game library into the Tesla entertainment system.
Tesla has software engineer teams working on video games based in Seattle and Austin. They created Tesla Arcade, a software that allows vehicle occupants to play video games through the center console.
Elon Musk says,

"entertainment will be critical when cars drive themselves,"
with hopes that Tesla will accomplish autonomous driving this year.
Tesla may make this video game software into a business. Musk announces on Twitter,
"We’re working through the general case of making Steam games work on a Tesla vs specific titles. Former is obviously where we should be long-term.

During the Tesla S/X unveiling, they said,
"Up to 10 teraflops of processing power enables in-car gaming on-par with today’s newest consoles via Tesla Arcade. Wireless controller compatibility allows gaming from any seat."
