    New Tesla Roadster Badge Trademarked

Tesla has filed two new trademark applications for the next-generation Roadster, signaling that the long-delayed electric supercar may finally be nearing its official debut. The filings reveal a move toward a bespoke "supercar" identity, featuring a unique triangular emblem meant to evoke speed and wind, along with a stylized, futuristic "ROADSTER" wordmark. This marks a departure from Tesla’s standard branding, placing the Roadster alongside the Cybertruck as one of the few vehicles in the lineup to receive its own distinct badge.

The "intent to use" applications coincide with Elon Musk’s recent update suggesting a formal reveal could happen as early as late May or June 2026. While the car was originally unveiled in 2017, these legal steps, combined with recent patents for specialized seating, indicate that Tesla is moving into a formal marketing and production preparation phase. If the current timeline holds, production is expected to begin roughly 12 to 18 months after the upcoming demonstration.
