The Tesla Model Y Performance has been launched in Europe, with availability starting in September 2025. This new variant boasts significant performance enhancements, including a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.5 seconds, an improvement from the standard model's 4.8 seconds. This is achieved with an increased output of 460 horsepower. Despite the performance boost, the vehicle maintains a respectable WLTP range of 580 km and supports fast charging, capable of adding 243 km of range in just 15 minutes.

In addition to its enhanced performance, the Model Y Performance features several cosmetic and interior upgrades. These include new 21-inch "Arachnid 2.0" wheels, redesigned bumpers for a more aggressive appearance, and a larger 16-inch infotainment touchscreen. The interior also has new seats with adjustable thigh extensions and performance-specific badging. The vehicle's handling is improved with an updated suspension system featuring electronic dampers and a new "Stability Assist Mode" for customizable traction control. The starting price for this model in Germany is approximately €62,000.
