How to Install Tesla Cybertruck Bed L-Track Molle Shelf Rack Deck

Start by confirming that you have received all necessary parts for installation.  In addition to the large Molle Deck, you should have received:

    • 4x Mounting Brackets
    • 4x Threaded Spacers
    • 8x T-Nuts
    • 12x M6 x 10mm “Short” screws
    • 12x M6 x 20mm “Long” screws*
    • 36x Washers*
    • 12x M6 Nuts*

*Note 4x long screws, 8x washers, and 4x nuts will not be used if this T Sportline deck panel is not being bolted to another T Sportline deck panel.

Next, line up the mount brackets in the desired location along the L-Track of your Cybertruck. If the forward most position (deepest section in the bed) is desired, locate the 3rd and 17th L-Track hole from the front. If not using the forward most location, locate two L-Track holes that are 14 holes apart. The threaded spacer on your mounting bracket will insert into these holes.
Next, roughly position the deck panel into place. It will be helpful to put something underneath it to hold it at the correct height for attachment to the brackets. A set of jack stands may work well for this purpose.

Attach each of the four mount brackets to the L-Track in the location that you found earlier. To attach, insert the L-Track nut into an open L-Track hole and then slide it along the track until it is aligned with the hole in the bracket. Using a short M6 screw and washer, thread into the nut and tighten. Do this twice on each bracket.

With the brackets mounted, lift the deck panel up to the brackets and align the slots in the brackets with the mounting holes on the deck panel. This process will be easier with a friend to help. Insert a longer M6 bolt with washer from the top and thread on a lock nut with washer from the bottom. Tighten the nut until the washer just starts to contact the deck panel, but do not fully tighten yet.

With the deck panel loosely attached to all four mounting brackets, adjust the deck panel until it is centered in the bed. Finally, tighten the 8 screws/nuts between the deck panel and mounting bracket.

If additional deck panels are being installed, follow the same procedure as above. After the next panel is installed, use the remaining long screws, washers, and nuts to connect the two deck panels together along their front/rear faces.
