The Tesla Model 3 / Y is well know for sitting tall and having a bit too harsh ride of a ride while being equipped with basic shocks limited to less than optimal performance and a single set compression and rebound rate. T Sportline's Tein Flex Z Coil Over (Coilover) Suspension Packages offers ride height adjustment and adjustable performance valved and tuned shocks most enthusiast owners desire. Tein Flex Z Coilovers are bolt-on replacements for Tesla Model 3 / Y, fitting physically within the stock spacial envelopes without any permanent modifications needed. Tein Flex Z Coilover Shock & Spring assemblies are high performing stock replacement dampers offering custom tunable improvements to both ride comfort quality and dynamic handling. The Tein Flex Z coilovers can be lengthened or shortened at the shock mounting point (not adjusting the spring height), which is more desirable over traditional 'lowering springs' because lowering springs are shorter and reduce shock stroke.
Flex Z Coilovers are compatible with Tein's EDFC (optional add-on), adding electronic adjustment from the convenience of the driver's seat. The EDFC allows either active g force tuning or speed base tuning (newer stepper motors are quieter) as well.
The twin-tube design is dimensionally the same as stock (length/stroke), but employs larger diameter (higher oil volume) for additional durability enables smoother strokes and reduced force counters resulting in a higher comfort ride versus factory shocks. The shock bodies are formed from an alloy steel with wall thickness specification that increase oil capacity and exceeds the stock shock strength while matching OEM outer dimensions allowing for perfect plug and play installation on the Tesla for upper and lower spring seats and mounting points. Each shock includes Tein's iconic green powder coat finish for a superior look and longevity against corrosion and wear, even when deployed in northern snow/salt environments.
After installing the T Sportline Tein Suspension Package we recommend getting an alignment. For maximum suspension tunability, we recommend adding our adjustable link arm kit found HERE. At a minimum, we recommend adding the adjustable Rear Camber Arms found HERE. The anti-roll for your Model 3 can be further tuned and optimized when adding our roll bar package found HERE.
